Watched Spike Lee's Inside Man this weekend - great flick! Just a rousing, suspenseful entertainment, a classic New York movie where even the smallest characters are real, firmly rooted in their New York environment. Early in the film we are treated to an appearance by Peter Gerety who played Homicide detective Stu Gharty...
And featured more prominently in Inside Man, was James Ransom - Ziggy from season 2 of HBO's The Wire.

I liked "Inside Man" quite a lot, though my favorite critics didn't care for it. I found it clever and entertaining - everything I wanted that day
