Summer Season Premieres

The latest season of Monk opens Friday night guest starring Stanley Tucci. Note new time slot: 9pm. USA Network moves Monk an hour earlier so that it can lead-in to their new show: Psych. Starring James Roday as fake psychic private investigator Shaun Spencer. Shaun was raised by his cop dad to develop a natural gift of observation. The dream was for Shaun to become a great detective - instead, he grew up to be a wise-cracking slacker.

I had zero interest in this based on the early ads but recent clips suggest it might be an amusing hour of television.
